The project of Dr. Normarie Torres, along with her co-PIs Dr. Caleb Esteban and Dr. Mario E. Bermonti, is titled “A risk model of chronic health conditions associated to trauma-related mental health conditions among Hispanic/Latinx sex, sexual, and gender minorities”. This study will assess data from the ALL of Us Workbench to investigate health disparities experienced by Hispanic/Latinx sex, sexual, and gender minorities with trauma-related mental health conditions to determine social determinants of health, including discrimination and limited access to healthcare resources.
This funding opportunity supports the analysis of existing large databases to understand health disparities and common health issues among Hispanics.
Congratulations to all of our Awardees!!!
