Generating Research Opportunities Working together Puerto Rico Network (GROW PR Network) was established in 2022 as the Puerto Rico Practice Based Research Network to increase opportunities for collaboration between primary care providers and the academia in research projects that directly benefit the patients and clinical practices in Puerto Rico.
Practice Based Research Networks have been established for over 30 years in the US, Canada, and other countries, with a history of contributing to the promotion of learning, developing, and participating in research that translates into practice improvement.
GROW PR Network is led by innovative healthcare providers and public health experts with over 10 years of experience in clinical research, community research, public health endeavors, and continuous quality improvement efforts with an interest in bridging the gaps between academia, clinical practice, and communities.
Our members and collaborators are part of primary care facilities, hospitals, academia, and community-based, nonprofit, and research organizations.
Promote collaboration between healthcare providers, public health practitioners, academic researchers, community, and patients to facilitate the translation of new knowledge and evidence-based interventions into our communities.
GROW Puerto Rico Network has three main aims:

Membership for the GROW PR Network is free of charge and open to healthcare providers, public health practitioners, academic researchers, community, and patients in Puerto Rico. A Memorandum of Understanding is required to formalize a collaborative agreement and have access to unique island-wide opportunities to develop collaborative research opportunities.
