GROW PR Network’s Members and Collaborators’ Meeting
In the spirit of fostering collaboration, innovation, and generating clinical research ideas, GROW PR Network’s December 17th meeting was a resounding success that left members with renewed enthusiasm and a strengthened sense of community. One of the main highlights of the meeting was the recognition of members whose dedication and support have been instrumental in advancing PBRN endeavors.
Looking ahead, GROW PR Network will remain building on these ideas. As a network poised to continue advancing collaborative research, generating actionable insights, and ultimately improving the care and services our population receives in Puerto Rico.

Share your insights today: Study Seeking Primary Care Physicians
Caroline Schiff, LCSW, a practicing psychotherapist and doctoral candidate at Sacred Heart University in Connecticut, is conducting a study that seeks to learn more about primary care physicians’ experiences working with patients who have eating disorders.
She is conducting interviews of approximately 15 – 30 minutes via phone call or Zoom with currently practicing, licensed primary care (family medicine/ internal medicine) physicians in the U.S. who have encountered or come across patients with eating disorders in their work, even if it is not a focus of their practice.
Your perspective can make a difference in improving care for patients. If you’re interested in participating or want more information, please contact Caroline Schiff at schiffc@sacredheart.edu or (203) 293-8494.
Funding Opportunities
Title: Addressing Stigma to End the HIV Epidemic in the U.S.
The HRSA Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) aims to reduce stigma in HIV care by funding one organization to lead efforts in training healthcare providers, developing resources, and implementing strategies to combat stigma. This initiative will target healthcare organizations providing HIV care, treatment, and prevention services, particularly those involved in the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program and Ending the HIV Epidemic efforts. The goal is to create a stigma-free environment that improves access to high-quality HIV care and enhances health outcomes for affected individuals.
