Generating Research Opportunities Working Together for Puerto Rico welcomes its newest member! Fundación Ven-Rose is a nonprofit organization, established in 2021, deeply committed to advancing equity in healthcare access, specifically in the delivery of cancer and renal therapies across Puerto Rico.
With a mission grounded in compassion and community service, Fundación Ven-Rose works tirelessly to improve the accessibility, availability, and quality of essential medical care for underserved populations in the island’s central mountainous region. Headquartered in Jayuya, the foundation provides critical support to patients not only within the municipality but also in surrounding communities with a comprehensive range of services, including oncology, internal medicine, nephrology, mental health care, and telemedicine. Through these services, the organization reaches and supports over 200 patients in the mountain region.
GROW PR Network looks forward to a collaborative and impactful partnership with Fundación Ven-Rose. Together, we aim to strengthen healthcare delivery and expand research opportunities throughout Puerto Rico.

GROW PR Network’s Learning Together session will be facilitated by Dr. Andrea López-Cepero, PhD, MHSN, is an epidemiologist and researcher for Emory University School of Medicine focused on prevention of cardiometabolic conditions among Latinxs adults with the goal to improve health among the population.
