The Alliance ISCORE-RC team participated in the 45th Annual Research and Education Forum held at the Medical Sciences Campus. During the forum, they had the opportunity to engage with a wide range of attendees, including physicians, study coordinators, faculty, and graduate students. They showcased how ISCORE’s services can connect investigators with clinical trials in Puerto Rico in a personalized and efficient way. Through one-on-one orientation sessions, educational materials, and interactive games, they reached a wider audience and made their work more accessible. Additionally, the ISCORE-RC team gained valuable feedback on their initiatives, such as the Clinical Research Coordinator Development Program, which can support and contribute to the growth of research capacity on the island.
Looking ahead, the ISCORE-RC team is excited to expand its outreach efforts to increase clinical trial opportunities in Puerto Rico. These initiatives will further support the growth and sustainability of research capacity, ensuring that Puerto Rico remains at the forefront of clinical research excellence.
