Building Connections: GROW PR Network Member Teams Up with Ponce Health Sciences University’s Public Health Program

As part of the Public Health Week at Ponce Health Sciences University, Ms. Ángela M. Díaz presented the conference “Nutriendo PR: Where Everyone has a Place at the Table”. The session brought together approximately 65 in-person participants, along with additional attendees joining remotely. The presentation emphasized the importance of cross-sector collaboration to ensure that everyone’s needs, mainly in the area of nutrition, are reflected in decisions process that impacts community well-being.

With more than 28 years of experience in community leadership, Ms. Díaz, Executive Director of Nutriendo Puerto Rico and a member of the GROW PR Network, shared valuable insights from her work in public health and her support for vulnerable populations.
